Very Old Iron Lock And Key From A Blanket Chest
Sale!
Just recently I salvaged an ancient wooden trunk, the entire bottom eaten into dust from beetle larvae consuming it in the empty house it had spent decades abandoned inside of., and uncounted years in service as a blanket chest befor that.
I have no way to date the lock, and it is broken from where I had to remove it forcibly from the chest it once resided in, but I do know it is very old indeed, because the nails in the trunk were hand forged.
All the pieces of the lock are present, including the bit that goes into the lid of the trunk as well as the key, and it can be repaired to fit into a treasure chest of your own making.
