Sea Glass Pendent Fidget
On the North coast of the UK is a little town called Skinningrove and it is a treasure trove of sea glass, fossils, sea china and all kinds of industrial revolution debris, all tossed and jumbled with rounded beach stones and sand.
We lived near it for a full year and all spent many happy hours in the icy cold North Sea winds searching for the treasures to be found there.
This little gem fit my fingers so nicely I drilled it to hang as a pendent fidget, because the texture and coolness of sea glass is magic to my fingers, and once I had one I thought others might love them as much as I do.
Because this sea glass is mostly from very VERY old bottles each piece has a subtle (or not so subtle) curve to the shape, which makes it even better as a worry-stone and because it is difficult to see in the individual pictures, the final one here is a group photo to highlight how different each piece is, color wise, from the others.
Each and every piece of sea glass is dozens, if not hundreds of years old, and utterly, totally, unique!
